Hilton Head Prep is pleased once again to announce several athletic commitments for the seniors, Class of 2016, during the November NCAA signing period.
The student-athletes will sign their National Letter of Intent during a ceremony at Prep's Joseph B. Fraser, Jr. Field House on Thursday, November 12, beginning at 12:15 p.m.
Students scheduled to sign are:
Cem Caglayan, Charleston Southern University/Baseball
Walker Campbell, College of William and Mary/Golf
EJ Churchich, St. Petersburg College/Baseball
Elinor Czura, Rollins College/Tennis
Shannon O'Brien, Arkansas State University/Tennis
Chase Schupp, Tulane University/Tennis
Anita Uwadia, University of South Carolina/Golf
Alexander Vanezis, Middlebury College/Tennis
Trevor White, University of the South/Tennis
"This class numbers many gifted athletes," commented Prep's Athletic Director Rich Basirico. "We are pleased to recognize not only their athletic achievements but their academic success as well. It is an honor to see them progress to the next level in their respective sport," Basirico added.
The athletes' family and friends are invited to witness the ceremony in the Field House. Prep anticipates additional athletic signings in the spring as well.
