The 25th Annual Promising Picassos presented by the Island School Council for the Arts (ISCA) Student Art Exhibition opened on Thursday, February 9, 2017. The event unveiled incredible emerging artists who used various mediums to display at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina's Bank of America room. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on display from February 9, 2017 - March 17, 2017.
Promising Picassos is open to all students, grades 3-12 in the public, private, and home schools of southern Beaufort County and is a competitive juried show where entries are selected by a committee. This year approximately 121 works were submitted from seven different schools. Eighty pieces were selected for the 2017 Promising Picassos exhibition where they are framed and prominently displayed.
