Hilton Head Preparatory School Announces Outstanding Citizens Linda S. Fraser, Charles Fraser (posthumously), Franklin P. Hodge III, Kathryn Ramseur-Riley, James N. Richardson, Leslie Richardson,

(Hilton Head Island, SC) Hilton Head Preparatory School has announced the recipients of its 2018 Distinguished Citizens Awards. The honorees, chosen for their personal and professional leadership and unyielding commitment to Hilton Head Prep and their significant services to the Hilton Head Island community, will be recognized at Prep's Jubilee, "Starlight and Sand Dollars," on February 10, 2018 at the Westin Hilton Head Resort and Spa in their stunning, brand new ocean front Grand Ocean Terrace.

Mrs. Linda S. Fraser a 1977 graduate of Sea Pines Academy and the late Mr. Charles Fraser also a 1977 Sea Pines Academy graduate were chosen to receive the alumni awards as committed alumni who have made significant contributions to Hilton Head Prep and the greater society while attending Prep and continuing
post-graduation.

Mr. Franklin P. Hodge III a 1987 graduate of Hilton Head Prep and member of Prep's Athletic Hall of Fame was chosen to receive the Athletic Award as an alumnus who performed with excellence and lettered in varsity sports while at Prep.

Prep faculty member, Mrs. Kathryn Ramseur-Riley, was chosen to receive the Educator Award by demonstrating exceptional leadership, commitment, character, and achievement during her 33 year tenure at Prep and significantly contributing to the quality of education at Prep inspiring hundreds of students.

Mr. James N. Richardson, Jr. and Mrs. Leslie Richardson were chosen to receive the Leader/Friend of Prep for their dedication to advance the ideals, mission, vision, and traditions of Prep while also greatly contributing to the school in a philanthropic manner while advancing Prep's mission.

Mrs. Carol Schembra was chosen to receive the Parent Volunteer award as a dedicated past Prep parent who was involved with many school committees and activities, and who significantly contributed to the quality of the Prep community as a loyal and devoted supporter and volunteer of Prep activities.

Ms. Meredith C. Inglesby a 1993 graduate of Hilton Head Prep was chosen to receive the Arts Award as an alumna who performed with excellence in the arts while at Prep and continuing post-graduation.

The annual benefit dinner raises funds for student tuition assistance, faculty and student opportunities and campus capital projects such as technological advancements.
